This Basic Clinical Skills Workshop presents the fundamental background information and clinical procedures to begin using HAT in your practice.
Basic Clinical Skills Workshop
Over the course of the two days, you can expect the following via lecture, Power Point slides, demonstrations, and participant questions and answers:
1) Overview of the origins of Heart Assisted Therapy®
2) Learn the basic procedures used in HAT®
3) Demonstrations using HAT
4) Discussion of the demonstrations involving
a) What did you observe?
b) What did you hear the individual report?
c) What did you hear the therapist say?
5) Discussion of what the therapist needs to observe and attend to during treatment
6) Discussion of how the therapist decides what to say
7) Learn to use the Four Guiding Principles as a therapist when using HAT
8) Integrating Future Performance Imagery (FPI) when appropriate
9) Discussion of appropriate uses and populations
10) Discussion and management of “rabbit holes” and “heart snuffles”
11) Be able to start using HAT in your psychotherapy or healthcare practice.
