Advanced Applications Workshop

DAYS ONE & TWO

Over the course of the two days, you can expect the following via lecture, Power Point slides, demonstrations, and participant questions and answers:

1) An update on what has been happening with Heart Assisted Therapy.

2) Language changes and procedural modifications since your Basic Clinical workshop.

3) Review of the Basic Clinical Protocol.

4) Demonstration of the Basic Clinical Protocol as a refresher of procedures.

5) Demonstration, discussion, and practice using Advanced Applications of HAT. Areas of Advanced Application include:

a) optional role of muscle-checking,

b) pattern-based procedural adjustments,

c) refining the treatment focus,

d) sport and performance enhancement,

e) pain management,

f) loss/grieving,

g) trauma and dissociation,

h) self-sabotaging behaviors and elaters, and

i) use with children and adolescents

6) Discussion of Model Building and my thoughts about how HAT works to facilitate the healing shifts in thoughts, feelings, sensations, and behavior.

7) HAT research that was available at the time of the workshop

8) Opportunity for case consultation that the participants shared.
